Saturday farmers market brings local growers to Town Center
By Apple T., El Dorado Hills student reporter ·
The weekly market gives El Dorado Hills families a nearby place to buy food grown in the area and to support local farmers, bakers and artists.
Every Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., the certified farmers market at El Dorado Hills Town Center sets up at the Marshall Amphitheater, 4364 Town Center Blvd.
Shoppers can find farm-fresh produce, sourdough bread, artisan foods and handmade goods from local growers, makers and bakers, with live music during the morning.
The market is hosted by the El Dorado Hills Arts & Entertainment Foundation, a community nonprofit, and sponsored by Marshall. Each week the El Dorado Hills Arts Association runs a booth featuring a local artist.
Earlier the same morning, Cars & Coffee meets from 7 to 9 a.m. on Vine Street, so visitors can stop by both. The vendor lineup changes from week to week, and the market posts a vendor map before each Saturday. Local farmers and makers who want to sell can apply through managemymarket.com by searching for Town Center Market EDH.
